If you are in Paris this time of the year, you absolutely cannot miss Monet’s garden. It is one of the top hotspots of spring. Incredibly beautiful and tranquil.
The first time I was there in August, the place was a tad bit too chilly for me to enjoy the views and the flowers. This time around, the weather was perfect, and I knew where the good photo spots were, so I used my camera shamelessly. The flowers were different as well, since it’s spring time! Unfortunately, I ran out of batteries later into the day…this seems to be my luck.
I think I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.
The place is actually split into two separate gardens. You can reach the Jardin D’eau (Water Garden) through an underground passageway. I suggest visiting the two gardens first, then lining up for a tour of Monet’s house.
Word of advice: Be one of the first ones into the garden! We were part of the first group in, and it was already pretty packed. Most tourists are also part of the older age group…sooo the crowd moves pretty slowly. But I would just be patient and really enjoy the view 🙂
